MULTIMEDIA REPORTERS NATION DESK (Ref: Edt 10/11) - Gulf News has openings for experienced Multimedia Reporters to write, shoot, edit and produce stories for distribution on Print, the web, and any other multimedia platform.The reporter will be responsible for covering general news assignment and for developing news sources and original stories.
This job requires a strong understanding of current events including local, national and international stories.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to write well, to tell stories effectively, to cover breaking news and to communicate effectively in general and in live situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma or a Degree in Journalism
• 5 years reporting experience in an English newspaper.
This position requires proficiency in producing video packages in house or in the field to tight deadlines, producing print and video stories for the web and producing copy and material for special programs.
Candidates must be available to work morning, dayside, evening or weekend shifts.
